Gragnano, Pennisola Sorrentina D.O.P

Casa Rovigatti's Gragnano wine, is produced under the Penisola Sorrentina of coastal Campania, southwest Italy, specifically from grapes grown in the commune of Gragnano.

Produced in limited quantities, the content of this bottle offers the true Gragnano wine. It has fresh and lively flavor, bright foam, a beautiful rich deep ruby color almost purple red, with scents of violets and a subtle fruity background.The wine is made in stainless steel tanks and ferments at a controlled temperature on selected yeasts. It undergoes a secondary fermentation in autoclave in order to create its characteristic foam.

Drunk young and served chilled, Gragnano has a touch of sweetness, a smoky finish, and a slight effervescence that cuts the fattiness of cheese and oil. It’s a very versatile wine which pairs very well with cheese, meat dishes & of course Neapolitan pizza.

Sangiovese, I.G.T. Delle Marche

Casa Rovigatti fruit forward Sangiovese, I.G.T. (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) title used in the Marche region of eastern central Italy. It is a red Italian wine grape variety that derives its name from the Latin sanguis Jovis, "the blood of Jove".

Made with Vitis vinifera grapes (scientific name), Sangiovese wine is actually quite scarse outside of Italy.The Sangiovese grape is a bit of a chameleon; easily altering its genetics to fit the environment. There are many different mutations of the variety all over Italy, which results in very different tasting wines.

Casa rovigatti Sangiovese is a good-quality Sangiovese prized for its high acid, firm tannins and balanced nature. Savory dark cherries flavors and black stone fruit are characteristic with more subtle notes of tomato.

It's characterized by its rich aroma of acacia and broom; is a citrusy and high in acid white wine.

Verdicchio is the principal grape behind two Denominazione di Origine Controllata wines produced in the provinces of Macerata and Ancona, provinces in the Marche region of Italy.

Sauvignon Blanc, Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Friuli-Venezia Giulia region ranks among the best for producers of white wines and it accounts for more than half of the production in Italy. Boasts an ideal climate for viticulture, with warm sunny days and chilly nights that allow grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. Sauvignon blancs are made in a style reminiscent of Sancerre with smoke, herbs and elements of honey and hazelnut. Casa Rovigatti’s Sauvignon Blanc Pairs well with herbs, meat, fish, Goat’s milk cheese, Yogurt, and Crème fraîche.

Chianti Riserva, D.O.C.G.

The result of careful selection, the Chianti Riserva is aged in oak barrels. With aging, this wine tends to have a ruby red color with garnet reflections, an intense and persistent aroma with a dry and velvety flavor.. To have the qualification “Riserva”, must have at least two years of aging. Casa Rovigatti’s Chianti Riserva, is recommended with Florentine Steaks, roast and game.

Benussi Cabernet

Benussi Cabernet is obtained from Cabernet Grapes, this wine has got a garnet red color and a pronounced vinous nose with herbaceous scents. Dry, full-body and rather tannic.
